How I Became a Twitch Affiliate (Again)

Do you want to show your favorite streamers (like me) some love but don’t want to dip into your wallets, or give Twitch your payment information? Twitch actually has a method that not many know about that allows you to get bits for FREE, just by watching sponsored videos.

Each roughly 1 minute long ad will net you anywhere’s from 5 to (personal record) 100+ bits! Most of the time you may just get 5, but sometimes you will luck out.

Note: Some times Twitch disables Viewing Ads, so for the sake of this guide I grabbed some example images from the interwebs.

Click “Get Bits”

Just like you were to buy bits, you gotta click the button below.

Click “Watch Ad”

Here’s where Twitch tricks you. You need to Scroll Up on this menu to see the “Watch Ad” option, will be right on top of the 100 Bits button. After you click that, the ad will automatically start.

Click once on the ad to “interact” with it, and when the time runs, out, complete the offer and obtain your bits!

Get Your Bits, Rinse and Repeat

Yes! you can repeat that action, watch another ad, and get more bits!

Twitch sometimes limits how many ads you can watch in a day, so the amount of bits earned per day could vary.

I Have Bits, Now What?

Once you are happy with the number of bits, go back to the bits menu and cheer on!
